Our team was selected for the Tissue Engineering FUNKE challenge launched by SPRIN-D the German Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation, an initiative that aims to develop a sophisticated concept that will produce state-of-the-art, advanced artificial tissues, with focus on liver, muscle, cartilage and pancreas.
We joined this venture to bring our bioengineered and volumetrically bioprinted endocrine pancreas units a step closer to pre-clinical and clinical translation.
